Instructions to turn on SMTP Auth in your email program in order to send mail
Please use the instructions pertaining to your email program. If you use a Mac, please call us for instruction.
Outlook:
1. Open Outlook program
2. Click on the TOOLS tab
3. Scroll down to EMAIL ACCOUNTS
4. Select VIEW OR CHANGE EXISTING EMAIL ACCOUNTS and click Next
5. Select your email address from list, click on once so that it is highlighted
6. Click on CHANGE to the Right
7. Click on box that says MORE SETTINGS
8. Click on OUTGOING SERVER TAB
9. Check box that says “my outgoing server requires authentication”
10. Click OK, and close all other boxes
Outlook Express:
1. Open Outlook Express program
2. Click on the TOOLS tab
3. Scroll down to ACCOUNTS
4. Select your email account from list, click on once so that it is highlighted
5. Click on PROPERTIES tab on the Right
6. Select the SERVERS tab
7. Check the box that says “My server requires authentication”
8. Click on OK |
