Mountain
Mini Trucks |
|
Project: |
James
Ray Spahn |
| Goals: |
Mountain Mini Trucks wanted a site that would professionally
display their inventory of Japanese mini trucks as well as provide
information to prospective buyers. |
|
Goals: |
Our client wanted a visually interesting site for display of
high end photography with a focus on architectural photography. |
| Solution: |
The site is very simple and straightforward. The home page gets
right to the point by listing the benefits of mini trucks as opposed
to traditional vehicles. We used a touch of Flash animation to add
more visual interest to the site. |
|
Solution: |
At our client's request, we created a site using Flash to achieve
smooth transitions between images and interesting navigation. The
site has a clean look which allows to user to easily focus on the
photographs. |

Gunnison
Valley Aviation |
|
Project: |
Gunnison
Car Club |
| Goals: |
Gunnison Valley Aviation has had a website for years and wanted
to update its look and content. |
|
Goals: |
The Car Club wanted to provide a venue for people interested
in classic cars and trucks, raise money for charity, and provide information
for annual car show registrants and members. |
| Solution: |
The site is full of information useful to visiting pilots and
tourists alike. GVA supplied a lot of great aerial photos to use in
order to show off the unique Gunnison Valley and surrounding area.
There are many slideshows on the site with photos of the Gunnison
area, wildlife, and unique aircraft that use GVA as their homebase
for high altitude testing and cold weather operations. |
|
Solution: |
The site has an online Car Show registration and promotion for
participants and vendors, support and activities for members, and
car information links to other sites. |

Bren Corn
Art |
|
Project: |
Connors
Drilling USA |
| Goals: |
Bren wanted a site that would show off the brilliant color and
detail of her site. She also wanted to protect her images from duplication
online. |
|
Goals: |
Our client wanted informative websites that promoted their company
to potential employees. They have two websites. One site is for the
USA branch and one for the Australian branch. |
| Solution: |
We chose to create an entire Flash site for Bren Corn because
it lends well to high image quality and is more difficult than traditional
html sites to copy images from the site. Per the artists request,
we used movement on most of the pages in order to keep interest but
not detract from the artwork. |
|
Solution: |
Paragon built matching sites packed full of information about
Connors Drilling. According to our client, the website has been a
very successful tool in recruiting employees. Some features include
online job applications, a movie that demonstrates "A day in
the life" of a drill helper, upcoming job fairs, and more. |

Mayan
Getaway |
|
Project: |
Mill
Creek Natural Beef |
| Goals: |
When describing what she was hoping for in a website, our customer
used words like inviting, classy, and realistic. She wanted to capture
the essence of their vacation rental property near Cancun, Mexico
and she wanted to sell vacation time slots for the property online. |
|
Goals: |
This family-owned business wanted to promote their natural grass-fed
beef from the Gunnison Valley. They wanted to provide their customers
with all of the information needed to purchase specific quantities
and cuts of beef online. |
| Solution: |
Capturing the beauty of the property was simple because the
newly remodeled Casa South Breeze house and beachfront property are
in an amazing location on the Mayan Riviera of Mexico. We used a link
to rentors.org for an availability calendar and set up a shopping
cart for users to purchase vacation time. Our client loves that she
can control the items in the cart herself. |
|
Solution: |
Our customer was very helpful in providing very organized information
to us. The site provides detailed information about Mill Creek Natural
Beef and the family that raises it. Customers can order beef online
to be shipped or delivered to their door. |

Gunnison
County Historic Preservation Commission |
|
|
|
| Goals: |
The GCHPC wanted an informational site including a map and details
for historic landmarks placed on Gunnison County's Register of Historic
Landmarks. |
|
|
|
| Solution: |
We used Flash to create an easy to use informational map of
Gunnison County with links to details of each landmark in each town
listed in Gunnison County. The site also includes downloadable pdf
files of printed brochures from the Preservation Commission and a
form users can download in order to nominate a new landmark for inclusion
in the Register. |

SAMPLES OF LOGOS AND DESIGN WORK

Mountain
Mini Trucks
Mountain Mini Trucks needed multiple logos for different applications.
Their business is the sale of Japanese Mini Trucks for hunting,
ranching, and other offroad use. Because many people don't know
what a mini truck is, we created a logo with an illustrated version
of a mini truck in it.
Peterson
Power Systems
Peterson Power Systems needed illustrations of their service
truck, a compressed air unit, a rental temperature control unit,
and a rental generator for use in a trade show display and other
printed materials. Using provided photos, we created vector illustrations
that can be reduced or enlarged as needed without losing quality.

New West Real Estate
This Front Range commercial real estate company had been using
a homemade logo and decided they needed a more professional look.

The InSINerators
The InSINerators are a local band that plays 60's garage surf
rock. They wanted a logo that incorporated devilish characteristics
and was easily recognizable.

Sports Partners International
For their website, SPI needed icons for each of the fitness
programs they support. These are used throughout their website to
signify which program their users are participating in.

Idealease of
North America, Inc.
2006 Christmas Card Options |
|
Project: |
Peterson Power
Systems
Location Map |
| Goals: |
Each year Idealease has custom Christmas cards designed to add
to a selection of past cards. Each of their locations are given the
option to choose a design and have them custom imprinted by Citizen
Printing in Fort Collins, Colorado. |
|
Goals: |
Peterson Power Systems wanted a 40"x50" poster of
their California and Oregon locations designed for display. |
| Solution: |
These are two of the initial options for Christmas 2006. Included
in the design is the illustration of one of their new truck models. |
|
Solution: |
To retain the same look as their other printed material, we
used the faint grid in the background with the CAT Yellow band behind
the Peterson logo. We designed the map in a previous project and it
is used in most of their brochure designs. |

| Project: |
Snaptron, Inc.
Snapshot Trade Show Display |
|
Project: |
Bisetti's Ristorante
Menu |
| Goals: |
Create a trade show display that is 81"x88" that features
two products. |
|
Goals: |
The Bisetti family has owned this restaurant in Fort Collins
since January of 1979. They opened a branch in Highlands Ranch, Colorado
in March of 2000. Their goal was to produce an Italian menu that evokes
a feeling of tradition and warmth and is durable in the restaurant
setting. |
| Solution: |
Snaptron had an existing display that was outdated and wanted
a new one. We incorporated their logos and products while using a
design that echoed existing printed materials. |
|
Solution: |
In order to convey the feeling they wanted, we used a warm,
textured background in combination with Script headings and an easy
to read serif font for the main text. Our client supplied a photo
they had taken in Italy on a family visit for the inner panel. The
menu was printed on smooth dull gloss cover stock then coated with
a dull varnish to protect it from spills and wear. |
